Do you find yourself contemplating the powerful words of familiar hymns that transcend time and experience? Join friends in three sessions of discovering the stories behind some of these favorite hymns. This study is based on the collection, "Then Sings My Soul Book 2, 150 of the World's Greatest Hymn Stories. Drawing strength from the Great Hymns of our Faith" by Robert J. Morgan. On the final session of the series, we will view two 30-minute "Hymn Sings" that are produced in such a way as to join in with the choir. You don't want to miss this! "Then Sings My Soul, Book 2" may be purchased from Christian Bookstore. Course Facilitator Biography: Dr. Jean Ellen Linkins probably sang before she spoke. Singing—and especially singing songs of faith—has always filled her heart. She earned an EdD in Education with Music Emphasis at age 63 from Bob Jones University. She wrote “A Song from the Heart,” the philosophy of Musikgarten early childhood music curriculum. She just retired after eleven years as an adjunct professor with Anderson University, SC School of the Arts.Registration is no longer available because the event has been cancelled.
